The Cannon

A beautifully light and sunny room with a bathroom to die for. Ideal for a couple looking to enjoy a relaxing stay in the finest boudoir in Stockbridge. Named after Tom Cannon, former owner of the hotel and famed jockey and trainer. Former champion jockey in 1872, and trainer of Grand National winner Playfair in 1888. The panelled walls of the hotel dining room showcase Cannon and a number of his famous charges. (See the History tab to find out more about Stockbridge's racing past). Please note that The Cannon is situated on the top floor of the hotel, it is well worth the ascent of two flights of stairs to reach it!
